2007 Eastern Sierra Demo Days!!!
Aibonito of Lone Pine will
be holding demo days during 2007 and 2008 featuring the the following kayaks:
-
AdvancedFrame (single
seater)
-
AdvancedFrame
Convertible (double/tandem seat, convertible to single seater)
-
AdvancedFrame Expedition
(single seater, longer, faster, lots of storage for touring!)
-
Straitedge (sit-on-top),
both single and double models.
-
Dragonfly (light in
weight, suitable for packing into smaller lakes, etc)
-
Demos in the
Eastern Sierra lakes now include
our hard shell Hurricane Kayaks - Phoenix 140 and 120 (sit on top 14 and 12
footers with Anglers options), and the Santee 116 Sport (11'6" sit inside
with enlarged cockpit opening for easy access, great for our lakes!!).
In Spring 2008 we addde other Hurricane models to our inventory in
Lone Pine that will be available for demos, including the Tracer and Santee
100!
Demo Dates for 2008 are:

May
25 (Sunday) - Silver Lake on June Lake Loop. Southwest corner of lake
at parking lot (not at the marina further north).10:30am, prior to Club
paddle. MAY 25TH DATE POSTPONED DUE TO SNOW AND THUNDERSTORMS FORECAST
FOR JUNE LAKE ON SUNDAY.

15 (Sunday) at Lake Diaz, Lone Pine. 11am to 3pm.

June
29 (Sunday) at Lake Diaz. 1pm to 5pm.

August 2 (Saturday) at Lake Diaz. 9am to 1pm. However, this
coincides with our club party bash for the year, so there will be boats
available most of the day into early evening.

August 10 (Sunday) at Lake Sabrina. 10am-11am, prior to club paddle.
Sabrina is in the Eastern Sierra, on Hwy 168, about 19 miles southwest of
Bishop. Hwy dead-ends at the launch ramp and put-in area.

August 22, 23, and 24 at Twin Lakes/ Mammoth Lakes area. In
conjunction with a club event, so please call ahead on our cell phone so you
know which of several lakes we are at (all are within about 10 minutes drive
of each other).

September 12, 13, 14 - We are in Lake Tahoe paddling Emerald Bay for part of
the time. Call us several days in advance for an appointment if you
want to try a particular model - tells us which boats to bring :).

October 21, 22 (Tuesday, Wednesday) at Convict Lake (off Hwy 395, 2 miles
from Mammoth Airport). Call ahead for appointment.

November 1 (Saturday) at South Lake (take Hwy 168 out of Bishop towards Lake
Sabrina - turn left about 4 miles before you reach Sabrina, continue to
launch ramp area several miles further, and past the resorts). Carry
an extra sweater, weather is usually good, but can get chilly with wind.

Lake Diaz demos are available almost every day of the
year = please call to advise you are coming out to try some GREAT boats!!!!

Important - for test paddles away from Lake Diaz/Lone Pine,
please call several days early to confirm.
As a general rule, we are available for demos
if done at Diaz Lake in Lone Pine most weekdays, and many weekends - just call us to arrange
an appointment to paddle these great boats!
The Eastern Sierra features
outstanding fishing and magnificent mountain lakes to paddle, well worth the
visit to our area alone! Lone Pine is located along US Hwy 395 in full view of
Mt Whitney, tallest peak in the lower 48. Diaz Lake is located along Hwy 395,
roughly 2 miles south of our shop. For further information contact our shop:

the only traffic signal in town. Directly across HWY 395 from world famous
